Less than early British rule, previously well known Mughal-period monuments which were scattered during Civil Station had been also re-purposed and sometimes desecrated – such as the Tomb of Anarkali, which the British had in the beginning converted to clerical workplaces before re-purposing it being an Anglican church in 1851.The Sunehri Mosque
